On Friday, September 25th, 2015, the M.T.O. Sufi Association® at UC Berkeley co-hosted and attended the Fall semester's first Interfaith event. Along with the Interfaith Action Initiative, Cal MSA, Hillel, and the Jewish Student Union, we gathered on Memorial Glad at UC Berkeley for a picnic and interfaith discussion. Each faith was encouraged to bring a food item to share that had spiritual, religious, or cultural significance for them. It was a wonderful event that allowed us to meet new students and continue building bridges with other faith groups.
