On February 1, 2020, students of M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® in Toronto hosted a celebration honoring the birthday of the Sufi Master, Hazrat Molana Shahmaghsoud Sadegh Angha. All the tables at the luxurious banquet hall were sold out, with over 200 guests in attendance. There were performances of traditional Persian dance, as well as live Persian classical songs composed to the poems of Hazrat Shahmaghsoud. A delicious dinner was served in an atmosphere filled with love songs. After dinner, everyone was invited to join the dance floor while curious shoppers could also buy items which had been donated by the students. It was a unique evening, as one of the guests expressed, “It feels like a large family has come together to celebrate an auspicious occasion”. Overall everyone enjoyed the memorable evening and looks forward to the next one.
