On January 6, 2020, M.T.O. Sufi Association® was invited to give a presentation on the topic of “Islamic Sufism and Justice” for the Interfaith Worker Justice Organization of San Diego County. This one-hour long presentation was a brief overview of the meaning of Justice in Islamic Sufism, which was comprised of two main parts. The first focused on the life and character of the Prophet of Islam, Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), the historical accounts of social reform and acts of justice implemented by him, accompanied by references from the Holy Qur'an. The second part offered information about Sufism, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® and its history, and finally expanding on the inward and the deeper meaning and practice of Justice in Sufism and its prevalence in the everyday life of a Sufi practitioner.
