On October 2, 2019, M.T.O. Sufi Association® attended the “San Dieguito Interfaith Ministerial Association”, also known as SDIMA's monthly meeting, held on the first Wednesday of each month, at the Center for Spiritual Living in the city of Encinitas in San Diego, CA. During each monthly meeting, a non-profit organization, an interfaith or faith leader or a prominent community organizer is invited to give presentations with a short sessions of questions and answers followed. During this month’s meeting, Father John Sitaras, a Greek Orthodox Priest who is also an artist, gave an interesting presentation on Christian Art History and the relevance of Iconography in Greek Orthodox Christian Art. An M.T.O. Sufi Association member present had the opportunity to discuss opportunities for future collaborations in artistic projects with Father John and the Greek Orthodox Church’s artistic community.
