On September 22, 2019, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Vancouver Centre hosted a Peace Discussion in honour of United Nations International Day of Peace (September 21). With approximately 35 people of various ages in attendance, the afternoon consisted of small and large-group discussions about Peace, what it means to each individual, and how it can be achieved. The discussions were followed by a keynote presentation about Sufism & Peace, based on the book by Hazrat Salaheddin Ali Nader Angha, and a practical exercise for Peace. The event was concluded with a mingling session, where guests expressed their experience as enjoyable and eye-opening, while enjoying delicious snacks!
