Students of M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Berkeley Center attended Gathering for Peace on September 11, 2019, which was organized by the Interfaith Council of Contra Costa County and hosted by The Interfaith Peace Project Center in Antioch, California. Attendees listened to a speaker presenting his various works for peace. At the end of the program, attendees shared the selected teachings about peace from different faiths. Among all the teachings, the teachings of Islamic Sufism about peace, based on the book “Peace” from Hazrat Salaheddin Ali Nader Angha, was mainly shared in the group. After the program, participants engaged in brief dialogue and exchanged their insights about peace and the program.
