On June 20, 2019, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Sufi Center® in Albuquerque participated in an interfaith gathering organized by New Mexico Interfaith Dialogue and hosted by the Immaculate Conception Church. Attendants from various faiths shared their understanding and experiences with prayer, answered questions such as: What is prayer? What is its purpose? How useful is prayer? Where and when do you pray? Do you have expectations from God when you pray? And can you relate a prayer experience that was meaningful to you? Attendees from M.T.O. enjoyed sharing their understanding and learning about various faiths’ prayer practices.
