On June 5, 2019, M.T.O. Sufi Association® attended the San Dieguito Interfaith Ministerial Association (SDIMA) monthly interfaith meeting held at the Seaside Center for Spiritual Living in Encinitas, CA. SDIMA is an association of faith communities that advocates and networks to promote acceptance, understanding, respect, diversity of beliefs, non-violence, empowerment and community enrichment. During each monthly meeting, either a non-profit organization, interfaith or faith leader, or a prominent community organizer is invited to give presentations and introduce their organization. At the end of each presentation all attendees have the opportunity to introduce themselves, ask questions and actively get to know one another. M.T.O. Sufi Association had the opportunity to share progress updates and ideas with other interfaith friends as well as introduce M.T.O. to the new organizations attending, and plan for further meetings and opportunities of collaboration.
