On May 9, 2019, The M.T.O. Sufi Association® attended the Annual Unite NCI Networking event held in San Diego, California. The mission of this event was to help solve the problem of hunger in San Diego schools, through networking between businesses, nonprofits, civic organizations, and faith-based communities. The goal of UNITE NCI is to remove barriers so everyone can work together with a mutual goal of addressing issues impacting those living in the communities of San Diego. M.T.O. Sufi Association had the opportunity to connect with various community and faith leaders, and introduce M.T.O. Shamaghsoudi® while answering questions in regards to Sufism and M.T.O. Centers. Several Ministers of different Christian faiths as well as prominent members of the interfaith organizations expressed interest in visiting the San Diego M.T.O. center and experiencing one of its weekly sessions.
