On April 28, 2019, students of M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® in Sacramento set up a booth at the Sacramento Earth Day event which was held at a local public park. The students prepared small potted plants to give away as gifts to anyone who stopped by the booth. Over 150 people stopped by the booth and students were able to speak with them about Sufism, and give them flyers about Tamarkoz® classes and pamphlets about lectures at Khanegah. It was a worthwhile event and several people expressed genuineinterest in attending a Tamarkoz class or lecture.
