On April 27, 2019, the M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Virginia Center hosted an open house titled "On the Path of Love". Approximately one hundred guests were in attendance, among which were local government officials, interfaith organizers and friends of M.T.O. students. The event started with an introduction to M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi, the history of the School, and Sufism. Teachings of Islamic Sufism were presented, followed by Zikr (Sufi Chanting) and a poetry reading. The event continued with a Q&A session and an introduction to the art of Calligraphy, as well as a tour of the center. The program concluded with guests enjoying Persian cuisine, tea and sweets.
