M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® celebrated Norouz in Montreal, Canada on March 31, 2019. Among the guests were Ms. Sue Montgomery, Mayor of Côte-des-Neiges and NDG, Ms. Wafa Al-Hamed and Mr. Rafael Benites, city-elected members of the Intercultural Council of Montreal. Members of M.T.O. introduced the School to guests, explained Norouz, the significance of Haftseen, and performed a Zikr.
