On March, 9, 2019, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi®, School of Islamic Sufism® Dallas hosted an Open House event highlighting the history and teachings of the School, its centers around the world, the first Museum of Sufism in Paris, and School’s efforts in energy efficiency. Attendees included Honorable Mayor Cheney and other city dignitaries, several faith leaders, educators, and general public, totaling over sixty-five guests. The program featured speeches relating to the aforementioned topics interspersed with Zikr performances, guided imagery, and Sufi poetry. Finally, the guests took a tour of the facility, enjoyed refreshments and had the opportunity to inquire more about the school.
