On March 8, 2019, the students of M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® participated in an interfaith panel conversation in celebration of International Women’s Day. The program was themed "Balance for Better" and was held at Orinda Community Church UCC, California. Five women from different faith backgrounds shared their perspectives and teachings of their faith on creating inner and outer balance in their life. A panel member from M.T.O. presented the teachings of Islamic Sufism. A Christian choir shared their musical gift with the audience during this program. Many guests from different backgrounds attended this event and at the end of the program guests had the opportunity to converse with one another to learn more about each other’s faiths.
