On April 26, 2018, the Sufi Psychology Association® presented at the Western Psychological Association’s 98th Annual Conference in Portland, Oregon. Speakers presented on “Applying Islamic Sufism Principles and Practices in Psychotherapy to Help with Stress Management, Burnout, and Fostering Inner Stability”. The symposium was attended by 30 mental health professors, therapists, students, and researchers. Attendees expressed interest in Sufi Psychology and learning how to apply Sufi Psychology in their work. They inquired additional information regarding retreats, certification, and resources to learn more about Sufi Psychology.
