On April 22, 2018, students of M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® in Sacramento set up a booth at the Sacramento Earth Day event which was held at a local public park. The students prepared small potted plants that each came with a quote from a Sufi poet to give as a gift to visitors. Several hundred people stopped by the table and the students had a wonderful opportunity to speak about Sufism and invite people to Tamarkoz® classes and lectures at Khaneghah. The program was very well received and many people expressed interest to visit our center.
