On January 27, 2018, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi®, School of Islamic Sufism® in Dallas hosted an Open House event highlighting the history and teachings of M.T.O, centers around the world, and the M.T.O.'s efforts in energy efficiency. Attendees included the Mayor of Frisco, The Honorable Mayor Cheney, his Chief of Staff, the Mayor Pro tem of Frisco, the Commissioner of Collin County, the Deputy City Manager of Frisco, the Frisco Police and Fire Departments, and guests from a variety of professional backgrounds. The program featured speeches relating to the aforementioned topics interspersed with Zikr performances and a recitation from "Message from the Soul". Finally, the guests enjoyed a tour of the facility complete with informational booths showcasing mirror work, calligraphy, tazhib, the new museum in Paris and M.T.O. Publications®. Following the tour, guests enjoyed a buffet of traditional Persian dishes, and were given a rose and sweets to take home upon their departure.
