The M.T.O Sufi Association® was cordially invited by the LEAD Center at UC Berkeley, consisting of faith-based leaders in Berkeley, the East Bay, and the Berkeley Center for the Study of Religion. The event, Who is our Neighbor? An In-Depth Look at Community Across Interfaith Systems of Belief, is part of a new campaign called Love in Place of Hate at CAL. We reflected on our own faiths and our relationship with the community, both within faith and across faith beliefs. This program allowed students to come together to discuss the elements of community, worship, unity in a single setting, and showcasing the spiritual and religious diversity that we have at UC Berkeley.
