On October 21, 2017, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism®, was invited by the Plymouth Church UCC to be among the faith representatives at the annual Interfaith Workshop in Milwaukee. The main purpose of the Interfaith Workshop was to educate, inspire and bring forth an action plan for racial equity. This event was an opportunity to shed light on race and racial justice, and allow participants to engage in transformational conversations and deeper learning about racial equity and racial challenges today's society faces. M.T.O Shahmaghsoudi brought a different perspective to the table by educating participants that in order to overcome this challenge we must focus on the True Identity of each human being - the Identity that does not solely associate with race, gender and ethnicity.
