On October 19, 2017, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Sacramento participated in the 6th Annual Interfaith Night of Music and Spoken Word, which was sponsored by Interfaith Council of Greater Sacramento. Over one hundred guests gathered in the spirit of oneness to share the theme of charity, hope, and kindness. Representatives from Christian, Jewish, Muslim, and many other faith groups were peacefully gathered. The choirs included wonderfully talented children and adults of all ages, who offered a sincere display of their hopes and beliefs through the power of music. M.T.O.’s choir performed two Zikrs in English that captured the audience visually and energetically. Some were so touched by the tenderness and softness of Zikr that yearned to visit the M.T.O. Sacramento Sufi Center.
