On October 2, 2017, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Dallas (Frisco) hosted a luncheon meeting with the mayor of Frisco, The Honorable Jeff Cheney. During the meeting, possible areas of cooperation between the School of Islamic Sufism® and the City of Frisco were discussed. The topics included M.T.O Shahmaghsoudi's® previous involvements in community activities such as interfaith initiatives, open houses, and charity work. The Mayor was invited to visit the Dallas (Frisco) Center. Mayor Cheney expressed interest in continued contact and cooperation between the Mayor's office and the school.
