On August 11, 2017, Houston City Council Member Larry Green, along with the District K Council office, collected supplies and donations to create school care packages for the staff of Willowridge High School. It schools 1,460 students with many coming from an economically disadvantaged background. Members of the young adults group at the M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Houston center partnered with various community and interfaith groups to participate in the Council Member’s donation event last Friday. The M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Houston young adults group looks forward to being called upon in future community efforts.
