On May 8, 2024, volunteers at M.T.O. Dallas participated in the Blackland Prairie Texas Master Naturalist Community Presentation. The presentation aimed to inform the audience about the history of the only accredited Arboretum in Collin County. The attendees were also provided with a list of identified native and exotic trees at the M.T.O. premises. The M.T.O. arboretum offers a serene space for relaxation, meditation, and recreation while promoting environmental sustainability, education, and biodiversity conservation within the M.T.O. school premises. Texas Master Naturalists were thrilled to learn about the M.T.O. Arboretum and eagerly anticipate a visit to experience the beautiful grounds firsthand.
