The M.T.O. Sufi Association® was cordially invited by Temple Isaiah to observe Mussar (soul-trait practice) and Jewish meditation service on December 3rd, 2016. The theme for Mussar was "Loving-Kindness". During this service, members of Temple Isaiah shared what love and compassion meant to them and how they can practice kindness in life based on the teachings of Prophet Moses (Peace be Upon Him) and Torah. The M.T.O. Sufi Association® members participated in the Jewish chants and prayers. Our participation in this program was an opportunity to learn about the teachings of the Jewish faith and prepare for our upcoming collaborative interfaith service with the Temple Isaiah in which we will be presenting the teachings of Islamic Sufism and zikr (Sufi chanting).
