M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® in Los Angeles was invited by the Emerson Unitarian Universalist Church to provide a presentation on Sufism on April 19th, 2016. After the presentation, attendees had the opportunity to ask questions, including inquiries on the status of women in Sufism, the lack of hijab as an clothing article for women, and whether Sufism was accepted in mainstream Islam. In seeing the clip of <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KH2druwvPmk">ZendehDelan®</a>, they were intrigued with zikr and Sama asked many questions about it. Others denoted their appreciation and respect for the strong relationship between Sufism and science. The audience expressed their sincere interest in Sufism, and asked how they too can attend M.T.O.® sessions to listen to lectures on Islamic Sufism, experience zikr, and attend meditation classes.
