On April 27, 2023, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Vancouver Centre was invited to join the City of Burnaby in an Eid Fetr celebration. Volunteers organized and set up a display of Sufi art at the Burnaby City Hall. At the event, a M.T.O. representative sat on a panel sharing the Sufi perspective in response to questions posed in regards to the Holy month of Ramadan and Eid Fetr. M.T.O. volunteers also provided a musical performance for all of the city employees who attended the event. The Staff in attendance expressed their enjoyment and gratitude for the Sufi perspective and musical performance provided by the M.T.O. Vancouver Centre.
