On April 20, 2023, in collaboration with City Councilmembers Bob Blumenfield and Nithya Raman, M.T.O. Los Angeles celebrated the end of the holy month of Ramadan by donating more than 10,000 food items to seven homelessness organizations and senior living-centers. They included LA Family Housing, Child Development Institute, North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry and NoHo Home. In the spirit of interfaith harmony and unity at this holy Muslim Celebration, Reverend Ian Macdonald and Rabbi Joshua Hoffman were among the speakers, along with Councilmember Blumenfield and Jenna Hauss, ONEgeneration’s president and CEO.
