On August 9, 2022, M.T.O. Orange County was given a proclamation in honor of American Muslim Appreciation and Awareness month, celebrated in August. The recognition is for MTO's significant contribution to the community and charitable organizations. The mayor of Irvine, Farrah Khan, personally presented this proclamation to M.T.O. both in her office and in the council chambers.
