On March 21, 2022, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Vancouver volunteers celebrated the International Day of Nowruz through a donation to Little Mountain Place, a local long-term care home. In order to spread the joy of the new year and the renewal of hope that spring brings, volunteers prepared a jar of over 110 hopeful quotes for the center, along with a jar of flower, herb, and vegetable seed packets for their gardening activities. M.T.O. Vancouver first collaborated with Little Mountain Place through the M.T.O. Covid-19 Response initiative when they donated care packages for healthcare workers and continued its partnership as the M.T.O. Sustainability initiative was launched. At the delivery, the staff shared their experience with the previous seed donation and expressed that residents really appreciated them, stating that they were able to grow and care for the plants to fruition and that they would enjoy this new set as well.
