On July 9, 2022, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Berkeley celebrated Eid al-Adha by donating basic necessities to the Berkeley Drop-In Center who provides services to people who are unhoused and have behavioral health problems. The items donated included 438 non-perishable breakfast items, 221 pieces of school supplies for children and 170 masks produced by M.T.O. students for adults and children. The students also informed the recipients of the meditation programs offered by the Tamarkoz® App and provided them with flyers with further information.
