For several weeks, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® in Los Angeles collected gently-used household items, such as pots, pans, clothing, pillows, bedding, rugs, toys, and shoes for individuals or families living in poverty or struggling with homelessness. On September 24th, 2016, the M.T.O. Sufi Association® gathered the items and donated them to the non-profit, poverty-relief organization M.E.N.D. (Meeting Each Need with Dignity), which will provide the items for free to those in need. Members of M.T.O. Sufi Association® valued this opportunity for service as the association strives for continued humanitarian involvement in the community.
