On July 8, 2022, in celebration of Eid Al-Adha, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Milwaukee/Chicago center donated 40 boxes of nonperishable food to Milwaukee Rescue Mission Homeless Shelter, and approximately 1500 snacks for the 500 students attending summer school at United Community Center (UCC). Milwaukee Rescue Mission Provides food, shelter, life-changing care and more for people in need. UCC's Mission is to transform the lives of Hispanic families and individuals of all ages by providing the highest quality comprehensive services in education, human services, health, community development and cultural arts. The staff of the organization were also provided information about the online Tamarkoz® sessions in an effort to alleviate the stress and anxiety experienced during these uncertain times.
