On April 12th, 2015, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® was the proud host of The Amazing Faiths Dinner Project at its Chicago/Milwaukee center. The event, which was sponsored by the Interfaith Conference of Greater Milwaukee, consisted of two intimate dinners for people of varying faiths. Individuals who identified with Catholicism, Unitarian Universalism, Buddhism, Islamic Sufism, Methodist, Islam, and agnosticism came together to engage in a moderated discussion about the role spirituality plays in their everyday lives. The 22 individuals toured the grounds of the M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® center and then sat down to enjoy a traditional Persian dinner provided by M.T.O. members. Over dinner, members conversed and learned about each others’ beliefs and faiths. It was a wonderful evening filled with delicious food, building new relationships, and learning about the similarities between the practical application of different belief systems.
