On November 19, 2021, in celebration of World Children’s Day, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Dallas center facilitated the remodeling and renovation of the children’s library at the Promise House. The mission of Promise House is that every youth in crisis has a safe and nurturing place to call home. The volunteers refurbished and reupholstered the furniture and decorated the walls of the library with inspirational and motivational quotes. The CEO was in awe of the final outcome and said “bad libraries build collections, good libraries build services, but great libraries build communities”. The M.T.O. volunteers felt grateful to participate in improving the long-term stability of these children.
