Throughout the months of October and November, students and volunteers of the M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Sustainability efforts in Houston, Texas collected 900 gallons of recyclable plastics, glass, aluminum and tin cans from their households in an effort to raise awareness about the importance of taking action for the environment now and for future generations. The items were accepted by the Westpark Consumer Recycling Center, a drive-through facility where citizens of Houston can drop off their recyclables.
