As part of the M.T.O. Sustainability initiative, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Vancouver Centre volunteers participated in a recycling drive from November 10 to 15 in observance of America’s National Recycling Day. In total, 242 kg of recyclable items including plastic bags, beverage containers, glass containers, plastic recyclables, cardboard and paper, lightbulbs and batteries, small electronics and power appliances, along with clothing and books were collected. Items were then delivered at several locations, some of which included the North Shore Recycling & Waste Facility and the North Vancouver Bottle & Return-It Depot. Aligning with the M.T.O. Sustainability Initiative commitment to reducing waste, M.T.O. Centres worldwide continue to offer waste reduction and recycling programs in partnership with local communities, organizations and charities aimed at supporting community well-being and environmental solutions.
