On September 30, 2021, M.T.O. Berkeley students celebrated the birthday of Sufi Master, Professor Nader Angha by donating to the Dorothy Day House Homeless Shelter. Dorothy Day House is a volunteer non-profit organization providing meals, shelter, and employment to low-income and homeless residents in Berkeley for over 30 years. M.T.O. Berkeley donated 400 masks, 130 bags, and 150 hygiene kits. All donations also included a Tamarkoz® flyer detailing M.T.O. 's free daily live guided meditation and relaxation sessions available through the Tamarkoz® App, Instagram, and Facebook. Albany Mayor Ge’Nell Gary and Berkeley Councilmember Terry Taplin applauded M.T.O.'s charitable efforts and remarked that such deep compassion and continuous devotion are crucial for the health of the entire community.
