On July 1st, 2015 there was an Iftar hosted by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office, Young MALAC which is comprised of Muslim Young Professionals, which also include members of the M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism®. The Iftar was held at the Sheriff's Head Quarters, where various Muslim Community leaders, Young Muslim Professionals, Community leaders of Various Faiths, and City, County and Federal Law Enforcement Officials attended. Assistant Sheriff, Michael Rothans, of the Los Angeles County Sherriff's thanked Young MALAC for their contribution to the community and building relations, on behalf of the Sheriff and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office. Additionally, Various Muslim Community Leaders, and Top Ranking Officials from various Law Enforcement Agencies who were also present, thanked Young MALAC for their efforts in building relationships and trust among the Muslim Community and Law Enforcement.
